If you’ve ever stepped foot on our campus, ever sent a child or grandchild to a week of camp — if you’ve ever prayed for our ministry, been involved at one of our supporting churches — or one of the hundreds of churches and ministries who have hosted retreats here over the years — if you’ve sent money, or if the life of someone you know and love has been touched and made better by their experience here, we hope you feel a connection to us — we hope you share the same joy for this camp as do so many others. And if you wish to be a part of this story and provide an opportunity for someone else to be impacted here, to encounter that same joy, please consider getting involved.
NGCC has seen tremendous growth since its facilities were first constructed. With this growth, we are venturing into a place where our current facilities, as beloved as they are — if nothing is done — will be unable to keep up with the number of people each summer who want to attend camp, whether as a camper, a volunteer, or a dean. While this is potentially problematic — we want to recognize the good kind of problem this is. God truly has blessed this place. So, if you’ve resonated with anything said thus far and wish to turn that feeling into action, this is how you can get involved: two years ago, we announced the Same Joy campaign to raise funds for this growth, and we hope you’ll consider giving to expand the camp so more people can better experience the same joy that so many others before have experienced here.
The Same Joy campaign is a multi-phase, multi-year effort encompassing many projects, all unified in creating more opportunity for campers to experience the joys of camping at NGCC. Please check back frequently to stay up to date on all the progress we’ll be making!
We know this will not be an easy task, but with humility, faith, and the expectation of hope, we trust that once again God will provide so that North Georgia Christian Camp can continue being a place where all people experience the same joy of finding and furthering a relationship with Christ through camp.
